Job Overview:
We are hiring an experienced and highly motivated OBIEE Architect to add to our team, specializing in the implementation of Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE, formerly Siebel Analytics) development within a complex enterprise environment. You will be working collaboratively with technical staff, outside consultants, and internal business experts to develop solutions to business requirements and client problems. Maintain responsibility for system design, development, implementation, and support. You will be interacting and working with business experts to understand business needs, translate business requirements into system functionality, and ensure that results meet established needs, goals, and timeline.
Job Duties:
| Serve as a subject matter expert on OBIEE+, demonstrating expertise in Oracle BI Server, Oracle BI Answers, Oracle BI Interactive Dashboard, Oracle BI Publisher, Oracle BI Scheduler etc. |
| Install, configure, and administer the OBIEE platform. |
| Serve as lead in the design and development of dashboards and reports. |
| Address dashboard and report security for all user roles. |
| Work with the ETL team to effectively tune and address the performance of the data warehouse. |
| Assist in defining the data warehouse architecture and technical requirements, and in coordinating the design of the consolidated data model. |
| Work directly with project management and analysts to translate user requirements into technical solutions and to resolve technical issues. |
Qualifications:
| Experience in implementation of the Enterprise Data warehouse. |
| Experience in Data Modeling, Extract Transform and Load (ETL) into OBIEE using Informatica and ODI, and Siebel Application. |
| Data warehouse and Business Intelligence Solution Architect with extensive experience in implementing Oracle Business Intelligence (OBIEE) custom data warehouse solutions and pre-built BI analytics. |
| Expert knowledge of Siebel Public Sector Application and Data Model. |
| Strong technical understanding of data modeling, design and architecture principles and techniques across master data, transaction data and derived/analytic data (e.g., KPIs), data storage/management technologies for both OLTP and DW solutions. |
| Expert knowledge on ETL using Informatica, dimensional modeling, Data Marts, KPIs and Dashboards. |
| Experience in Data Scrubbing, cleansing, parallel loading, extraction, transformation and uploading using Informatica, ODI, PL/SQL, SQL*Loader, partitioned database, database tuning in OBIEE environment. |
| Consulting background preferred. |
| Excellent customer support skills. |
| Good verbal and written communication skills. |
| Dependable and self motivated. |
| Bachelors and/or a Masters Degree or equivalent. |
Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain a secret clearance
