Key Responsibilities May Include:
| Lead activities
to plan, install, monitor, and troubleshoot multiple Siebel
Server Components in Windows and UNIX environments |
| Install and configure Siebel 7.x servers and third party server utilities |
| Develop and maintain server shell scripts in UNIX and Windows to manage Siebel Server components |
| Perform repository migration across multiple Siebel server environments |
| Exposure to understanding of Release Management |
| Implement security requirements such as LDAP user authentication scheme |
| Conduct performance analysis and tuning of Siebel server process |
| Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve server issues with Siebel Technical support and system architects |
| Work closely with Siebel developers provide Siebel server administration support during its full implementation lifecycle |
| Develop and maintain system architecture requirements and design documentations |
| Create and maintain users in multiple Siebel environments |
Minimum Qualifications:
| Siebel 7.7 experience is mandatory, Siebel 7.8 is preferred |
| Minimum of 1 year Siebel server administration experience |
| Extensive experience in UNIX and Windows Server operating systems |
| Extensive Siebel administration experience, including all aspects of Siebel server installation and system administration |
| Minimum of 2-3 years experience in relational database skills, preferably Oracle, required for reviewing and evaluating complex operational queries |
| Ability to work directly with clients and develop strong working client relationships |
| Ability to work within a team environment, coordinating between various disparate teams |
| Strong written and verbal communication skills |
| Good understanding of Siebel repository migration process |
| A Bachelors and/or a Masters Degree or equivalent |
| U.S. Citizen |
Preferred Qualifications:
| Certified in Siebel 7.5, 7.7, or 7.8 |
| A proven functional/technical professional with at least two or more full lifecycle Siebel implementations and three or more years of industry and/or consulting experience |
| Extensive experience implementing Siebel (7.5, 7.7, or 7.8) |
| Strong understanding of Siebel architecture and its data model |
| Minimum of 2-3 years experience in relational database skills, preferably Oracle, required for reviewing and evaluating complex operational queries |
| Development knowledge or work experience in SQL is desired |
| Experience in preparing, writing and reviewing system documentation |
