We are seeking an experienced OBIEE Developer/Architect specializing in the implementation of Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE, formerly Business Intelligence) development within a complex enterprise environment. Work collaboratively with technical staff, outside consultants, and internal business experts to develop solutions to business requirements and client problems. Maintain responsibility for system design, development, implementation, and support. Work with business experts to understand business needs, translate business requirements into system functionality, and ensure that results meet established needs, goals, and timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
| Serve as a subject matter expert for OBIEE+, demonstrating expertise in Oracle BI Server, Oracle BI Answers, Oracle BI Interactive Dashboard, Oracle BI Publisher, etc |
| Install, configure, and administer the OBIEE platform |
| Serve as lead in the design and development of dashboards and reports |
| Address dashboard and report security for all user roles |
| Work with the ETL team to effectively tune and address the performance of the data warehouse |
| Assist in defining the data warehouse architecture and technical requirements, and in coordinating the design of the consolidated data model |
| Work directly with project management and analysts to translate user requirements into technical solutions and to resolve technical issues |
Qualifications:
| 3+ years of experience with data warehousing and Business Intelligence 7x |
| Experience with Oracle databases |
| Experience with standalone and integrated Business Intelligence architecture |
| Experience with gathering and analyzing business requirements from various sources, ensuring suitable balance of business needs and delivery feasibility, including gap analysis related to customer data models |
| Experience with preparing technical documentation |
| Experience with creating developer specifications based on functional requirements |
| Experience with configuration and customization, Web Services, EAI, scripting languages, and workflow |
| Ability to obtain a security clearance |
| Experience with Siebel Tools, eScript and SQL |
| Experience with working in federal government agencies |
| Siebel 7.x Certification |
| BA or BS degree |
